Getting Started:

Updated: Oct 21, 2023

Little did I know when I started a mindfulness group in a local library in 2012 how it would change my life.

I had become interested in meditation after attending a group that was about 50 miles away. Tired of driving so far, I put a notice at the local library for a mindfulness group and reserved a room. People started to come. I didn't know what to do at this point, and the first year was a learning period. Then we developed guildelines and structure to make a safe container for people to share their experiences. to practice mindfulness and to meditate.

When people would ask me questions and I didn't know the answer (which was often), I attended retreats and workshops.

Years later, I got my teacher's certification. Mindfulness and meditation is a vast practice. There can be unanticipated challenges and I have found it is

a journey that is best shared.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to discuss ways to get started/continue your journey.
